At TransCold, we invite all team members to nominate employees who have shown exemplary contribution and dedication to their work. Winners are selected by a committee of their peers. They receive a $1,500 cash award and one week’s vacation.
Rene Serrano
Rene joined TransCold on July 5, 2010 as a Route Sales Driver. Rene is no stranger to ice cream distribution and sales having worked for Dairy Valley Distributing as a driver delivering ice cream until TransCold purchased the ice cream side of the business in 2010.
Rene is an example of what great looks like. His stores, sales, and customer service set the bar high for the other RSD’s. His customers cannot say enough about the job he does for them. His teammates, BDM’s and management all have great respect for him and his ability to train new employees and relief drivers. He has sold over 1.25 million dollars’ worth of product. Renee looks forward to using his week of vacation to spend quality time with his new baby daughter.
